Have you visited Hartsholme Park?

Multiple time winner of The Green Flag Award, Hartsholme Park is situated South of Lincoln, just off Skellingthorpe road. 200 plus acres of nature, free to be enjoyed.

Why not drop in to the café while the kids have some fun in the children’s play area? Or enjoy a winter walk around the lakes? There are cycle paths, open grass lands and woods to be enjoyed.

Looking for a longer stay? Why not have a night under the stars in the park’s three star rated Touring Park and campsite.

The Park runs regular walks and events, including bird watching, craft sessions, and seasonal goings on, like the upcoming festive themed trail.

December 16:“Solve the puzzles and complete the challenges to finally claim your sweet treat. There is a charge of £2.50 per child for this event and booking is essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is aimed at children aged 4 to 13 years. This is a Children's University validated activity. You might not know

  • The name "Hartsholme" means deer, and an area of marshy ground.

  • The park’s lakes were constructed by the Lincoln Waterworks Company 1846.

  • There were plans to build "Tudor" houses in the Park in 1939, but World War II put a stop to that.

  • The park was used for army training in 1942 for the second world war, and Hartsholme Hall was used as an officer’s mess.
