Happy Mondays return to The Engine Shed

A bumper few months at The Engine shed have seen a host of acts for those seeking a little bit of nostalgia.  November saw Lincoln's premier music venue host The Total Stone Roses, Cast and Shed Seven, now it was the return of the original 24 hour party people themselves.

As is often the case in music, an anniversary equates to a tour, and this one is in celebration of 30 years since debut album 'Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)'.  This pearl landmark shows the band at their best in a long time.

Accompanied by vocalist Rowetta Idah, the group played fan favourites 'Wrote For Luck’, ‘Hallelujah’ and 'Step On' in a set that included everything from the tongue twisting debut.
