Katherine Ryan at the Engine Shed
Katherine Ryan took to the engine shed on November 9th for her Glitter Room Tour.
The so called ‘glitter room’, is in fact a real room in her home, her eight-year-old daughters bedroom in fact, much to the dismay of the builders, who questioned her every choice, the glitter room became a reality.
The Show itself itself was full of powerful and uplifting comments and hilarious anecdotes.
From surprise cats to meeting celebrities. Many of these anecdotes are made funnier with the input of the comments from her daughter.
This show is full of moments celebrating single-parenting, rather than many shows which may moan and complain about it.
This wasn’t a show to empower just the single-mothers in the room, it was able to entertain and uplift those in the room whether they were 18 or 38, especially when poking fun at the idea of a ‘revenge body’ , this show covered it all.
I would definitely say the set was possibly more relatable to the women in the room, but with that being said I did see a selection of men sat with their wives wiping away tears of laughter at the end of the show.
